Labour’s leader in Scotland launched her party’s general election campaign yesterday by telling people to vote for Tory chief Ruth Davidson.
Kezia Dugdale said that there are places in Scotland “where the Tories might be better placed” to beat the SNP than her ailing outfit. After the Tories’ recent strong performances, those “few” places are clearly right across the country.
Fresh from her barnstorming launch, she then had the cheek to say that UK Labour’s campaign had been lacklustre so far, awarding it a “six or seven” out of 10.
Kezia still doesn’t quite get it – Scotland is fast becoming a two-horse race – Ruth or Wee Jimmy Krankie.
