Lefty Lunacy: Skittles taste the online outrage

Normally, the people who make the sweets Skittles tell you to ‘taste the rainbow’, but in ditching their branding to promote LGBT causes, they have been left to taste the mob.

In order to support Gay Pride month, the confectionary known for their rainbow packets has released all-white sweets in an all-white wrapper, saying that “only one rainbow matters” this month.

However, they probably didn’t foresee what was coming next – people have accused the white sweets of being racist.

This should be a lesson Skittles HQ: you cannot please all of the lefties, all of the time.
