New guidance for teachers states that transgender pupils must be referred to as ‘zie’ rather than ‘he’ or ‘she’.
The Boarding Schools’ Association said that teachers “felt they were in the dark on what was politically correct and had fears of causing offence”, thereby needing these new guidelines.
The author of the new instructions insisted that “schools need to make sure that all students are treated equally and fairly according to the Equality Act”.
TCW thinks the best way of treating all students “equally and fairly” is not to confuse fact with fantasy or imposing Orwellian newspeak on them.
