Lefty Lunacy: The BBC is down to its last 5,000 job titles

BBC bosses have been ridiculed for having 5,000 separate job titles for their staff.

An internal HR report said that that if they were a normal company, a workforce of their size would need only 1,000 different job titles.

Some of the jobs funded at this most profligate consumer of public money include ‘Programmatic Solutions Executive’, ‘Thematic Research Manager’ and ‘Solution Architect’.

If only they appointed TCW as their ‘Solution Architect’ – first stop privatisation, second stop the brilliant David Keighley as Director-General.
