Lefty Lunacy: TV ads to feature women down coal mines


In an attempt to erase “stereotypical gender roles”, a watchdog is to ban TV adverts showing men failing to do household tasks.

The Advertising Standards Authority said that adverts that contained women being limited to ‘traditional’ gender roles had “costs for individuals, the economy and society”.

In which case, we should expect the next Persil advert to have the husband doing the washing and the wife down the pit or on a Special Forces mission…
