Listeners switch off Today (or is it Woman’s Hour?)

-

It comes as no surprise to The ConWom to learn that the BBC’s Today programme on Radio 4 has lost 65,000 listeners.

It has long ago skewed Left, a stance reinforced by its anti-Brexit campaigning.

However the audience tune-out has increased since it turned into Woman’s Hour, as described by the Spectator. Its ridiculous obsession with the gender pay gap, resulting in the ludicrous spectacle of its own presenters essentially campaigning to be paid more licence fee-payers’ money, must have repelled listeners in their droves.

We hope at this critical point Today can quit the navel-gazing and get back to holding politicians and the government to account.
