IN the week that saw Dr David Mackereth rightly protesting against his sacking by the Department for Work and Pensions for telling the truth, this observation by Mark Steyn on the internal contradictions of ‘wokeness’ caught my eye:
‘Gender is totally fluid, and, if you’re unpersuaded that a six-foot man with a beard is a woman, you’ll lose your job. Whereas race is a social construct, but not that social.’
He goes on to explain in his post The Empire Wokes Back here, which clarifies for anyone otherwise confused by it all exactly when (and how) a black American President is not a black American.
