They frightened Joe Public with all kinds of tricks
Social distancing and masks, great fear-building bricks
Don’t kiss your Granny, try to spy on your friends
All mad propaganda that just never ends
The BBC loved it – all that constant bad news
The mainstream media too, whichever you choose.
But then came the ‘sting’, Big Pharma’s Big Dream
The mRNA jab, the high tech solution super supreme
The trials were done quickly, the results never in doubt
It’s a miracle cure is what they’d all scream and shout
Take the jab for your country, take the jab to save all
There are one or two side effects that don’t matter at all
And if you don’t take the jab you’re just idiot swine
No job and no travel, no pubs or fine wine
You’re second-class people, the scum of the earth
No body autonomy now since the day of your birth.
And so the storm passed, natural immunity had won
But the people were tired of the political class scum
The narrative wavered as the true facts became clear
Though millions still quaked with evil-nudged fear

So what have we learned from this story so tragic?
