Our appeal hits the headlines

THE crowdfunding appeal for a judicial review of the BBC that TCW has been promoting, we are glad to announce, is now a national news issue.

Yesterday the Express reported that the BBC is facing a legal challenge over the way it monitors its impartiality amid accusations of biased coverage under the heading ‘BBC backlash: Beeb facing legal challenge as viewers raise thousands to tackle “bias”.’

We are now eagerly waiting for the appeal to be reported by the BBC itself. But not holding our breath . . .

It is salutary to find that the Wilson committee’s MORI report on attitudes towards the BBC’s reporting of the EU back in 2004 contained many comments which were strongly negative about the BBC, that are now echoed by donors to our appeal, published here.
