WE are so sorry to have to tell you that our wonderful, much-loved writer Nick Booth died yesterday in the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, Surrey, after suffering from cancer for five years. He was 62.
Nick was one of TCW’s first, best and most loyal writers, with a unique and irreplaceable voice. He was also a delightful man and friend. The courage and humour with which he confronted his challenge was inspirational, and we at TCW are terribly shocked and saddened. We are proud to have known him and we send our condolences to his widow Amanda and their daughter Lucy.
We will republish some of his work later. He was writing to the end and here is his last article which appeared just over a week ago.
