Paul T Horgan: Casey report is another nail in the coffin of multiculturalism

-

This report is part of the slow burial of multiculturalism.

This was the concept that stated that all cultures were equally valid. The secret protocol to this was that to state otherwise was to be racist. To be denounced as a racist, irrespective of the evidence, was to be sent to an intellectual Siberia and be lumped together with the genuine racists, the residue of National Socialists in this country, who are notable only for their rarity compared to their Fabian, Leninist, Stalinist, and Trotskyist fellow-travellers.

The consequence of this enforced clamp-down on proper debate was the tacit acceptance of third-world barbarism, like the ritual maiming of daughters, the tradition of marital rape in forced marriages and community-condoned murder when these British women tried to exercise the civil rights that earlier generations of feminists agitated for, but that the current third-wave feminists disregard when the victim’s skin colour is not white enough.

Multiculturalism died in this country along with fifty-two innocent men and women in London, when four British men, who were brought up under this bogus utopian ideal, decided that the cultural values they had absorbed included the use of indiscriminate mass murder on the public transport network as a form of political expression. There have been hundreds of other victims, notably the sixteen hundred girls who were sucked into an organised system of gang-rape in Rotherham. The failure of the local authorities at every level of seniority properly to investigate and prevent this outrage was described as ‘understandable’ by The Guardian for utilitarian reasons to perpetuate a discredited consensus no matter the cost in human lives. It is also notable that anti-rape organisations and other feminist groups have been almost totally silent on these violations of women’s rights and the tacitly supportive actions of local authorities that evaded proper accountability through institutional corruption.

The relatively benign social and economic environment that people enjoy in this country is not due to multiculturalism. It is actually due to the dominant national culture that promoted wealth, safety and freedom and made this country an attractive destination for people of other countries to live and work. People came here from places where these positive outcomes were diminished or absent. They came to this country to seek a better life due to how our culture moderates human interaction. Unlike the deliberate ignoring of organised gang-rape, this is not understandable by The Guardian or its mentally-conditioned readers.

The multimedia, multichannel internet age has made cultural Balkanisation possible. Million-selling national newspapers are rapidly becoming history, being replaced by millions of websites catering for every opinion and outlook, including facts distorted enough to radicalise the gullible or wilfully ignorant. There are now few television programmes that will be watched by half the population. It is not helped by a left-wing in this country that hates our nation’s history and traditions, derides our institutions, believes in widespread inherent racism that makes people guilty until proven innocent, and stifles proper debate on immigration and culture by strident denunciation.

The failures of multiculturalism are blatant and obscene. To quote David Cameron, it would be nice to hear a bat squeak of responsibility from a political Left that closed down debate for decades for the thousands of innocent lives they have indirectly damaged through socialism’s facilitation of barbarism.
