Storming piece, and absolutely correct!
When Boris was in the running to become Conservative leader, too many people were sentimentally cooing over his new relationship with Carrie Symonds, and later, the baby on the way. It was impossible to suggest that his train wreck of a private life might cast doubts over his judgement. The truth was always hiding in plain sight, that Boris is a serial betrayer and letter down of his nearest and dearest, but too many people believe that if two people love each other, then everything is allowed.
Look at Boris’s record. He has no ideological commitment to freedom, as was demonstrated by the case linked here.
