What a superb article, the crux of which (for me) is the calibre of our rulers, the enormous power they have over our lives and the extent to which politics has become the only game in town.
As for the UK’s future, I’ve just bought an item for which the UK couldn’t make the packaging at the price I paid. This is the reality and the clowns at the top who think we can run our economy on debt need a massive wake-up call before being kicked out and replaced by experienced people familiar with the real world.
