Responding to The Conservative Woman: The BBC’s war on traditional values, by Paul Dacre, Bruce Mills wrote:
What a tragedy it’s taken so very long for Dacre’s trenchant observations on the Beeb to become almost mainstream. At least I hope this is registered. Will it come to pass that Dacre and Charles Moore might graciously step in from their retirements to sort it all out for us all, which is still, at heart, a nation of ingrates? Or will this pandemic nonsense and – on the face of it – a biddable PM, manage to sideline it back into the overstuffed fields of forlorn hopes and, ergo: the beat goes on?
