RESPONDING to Michael St George: The Red Wall is losing bricks fastChris wrote:

I raised this point with my MP, one of the better Tory ones, and he said that polls suggested that support was in fact holding up in the Red Wall seats. Personally I don’t see how it can be: I consider myself to be a brick in the Blue Wall (I was out on the streets in 1979 campaigning for Margaret Thatcher’s win, I’ve been a Tory on my local council, and apart from standing as a UKIP candidate in 1997 and voting Brexit last year I’ve always voted Tory) but even I am so appalled by Bozo’s actions during the virus ‘crisis’ that I’m considering going somewhere else next time.

The Tory Party can rely on ‘We’re not Labour’ for only so long. As soon as Starmer looks like he’s making improvements to the Labour Party, which he will, those votes we ‘borrowed’ last December will be taken back by the bucketload.
