IN response to Will Jones: Is the Pfizer vaccine really a breakthrough? Fog Everywhere wrote:
There are so many problems about this that I, for one, will be extremely reluctant to be vaccinated, although I am by no stretch an ‘anti-vaxxer’. Before March this year my attitude to it would have been wholly different. In general, I trusted the ‘government’ and the ‘authorities’ to have people’s best interests at heart. The appalling shambles that they have made of the country and the economy over a virus which – while undoubtedly unpleasant and dangerous to a significant number of people – is far from being a rerun of the Black Death has shifted me a long, long way. I still don’t believe in conspiracy theories, but the incompetence they have displayed has been an object lesson. Right now they will seize on anything, however improbable, to get themselves out of a hole.
