ANYONE who thinks we are back to normal after lockdown and the end of the mass vaccine roll-out needs to think again. Notice that there has been no backing down, no government apology, no taking responsibility for the massive economic and health damage perpetrated, no recognition let alone recompense for the widescale vaccine injuries and deaths, and no withdrawal of the reckless mRNA vaccines. Far from it. Just denial. Corruption permeates the system through financial incentives as detailed by Andrew Bridgen MP here.
Big Pharma and novel gene therapy, with the state as the willing marketing and investment agent, is our disturbing ‘health’ future – the government’s recent deal with Moderna being but one aspect.
As overt fear abates, we may get at more of the truth but we also get revisionism and an intensification of the resistance. Witness the Telegraph’s publication of Matthew Hancock’s WhatsApps; witness the cynical reaction of our supine and culpable MPs to Bridgen’s speech in Parliament last week. For the second time. You can see the near-empty chamber in the reinstated YouTube film of his speech.
Nor did the MPs leave by accident, as you can see from this extract here. Watch how a first MP is tapped on the shoulder, and then crosses the floor to tell others to leave, and how a female MP is also telling others to leave.
The treatment and demonisation of Andrew Bridgen is one example of the doubling down on vaccination and censorship generally. Another is GB News’s decision not to dispute Ofcom’s ruling against the Mark Steyn Show and their all but constructive dismissal of their most talented and high-rating presenter. Then, as if to underline their new compliance, no doubt to appease the state’s broadcast regulator, they replace him with Jacob Rees-Mogg – Lord President of Council throughout the Covid State administration. Are they having a joke? The cynicism is breathtaking. Whatever, it marks the end of GB News’s short-lived attempt at independent, critical and sceptical mainstream broadcasting. Not much conviction from their business backers there.
Emails recently obtained by Professor Norman Fenton – revealing the Lancet‘s censorship of him that discussed his alleged ‘anti-vaccine’ Twitter activity when considering whether to publish his rebuttal paper challenging the claim that Pfizer’s vaccine was 95 per cent effective – is another example. Though the rebuttal was never published, though the email discussion of him was disreputable, and discrediting to the Lancet, no apology has been forthcoming. And that’s the point.
This normalising of censorship, surveillance, and now crazy net zero travel restrictions (15-minute cities) shows the Covid response to be no isolated catastrophic mistake but rather the template for the future. Our mission is to fight this totalitarianism, propaganda and nudging at every turn. We firmly believe that rolling back the State, giving families back their autonomy and encouraging marriage and mother-care, is the best route back to a free and healthy society. The recent multi-billion pound, choice-less childcare ‘give away’ is but one example of why our counter cultural small c conservatism is still so badly needed.
This is what we fight for daily on TCW. Investigative journalism, relentlessly pursuing the truth, holding the government to account: this is increasingly TCW‘s byword. Questioning everything, thinking the unthinkable. But to do this properly – maintaining professional editorial and journalistic standards – costs money. And our coffers once more are running low, despite the majority of the editorial work and contributions being unpaid. So far in our three-year fight against the government’s totalitarianism we’ve avoided a financial meltdown. But crisis is for ever looming.
We have no big donors – we only have you to rely on – so once more I find myself asking for your help.
There are important reasons why you should direct your support to us. By contrast with other sceptical sites we don’t just rehash MSM reports, or simply relay alternative information, analysis and comment from other sources. We commission our own original and investigative reports. Furthermore we are unafraid to take a clear and uncompromising editorial line whomsoever we offend. We never pull our punches when stating unpalatable truths or when holding the government, the MSM or any other institution to account.
We will not let up until we get justice, until politicians and their advisers are made answerable for their proven lies, nor while public compliance and passivity remain the order of the day. We believe with the right type of energy and determination all this can be changed and these new Covid State-type plans and culture can be beaten back.
What we have achieved on TCW should not be underestimated, as demonstrated by the response to our wonderful Celebration of Dissent event in February, and also by the quality of the people who now write for us, the top scientists, economists, lawyers, medical doctors, climate sceptics, literary scholars, and various others, all chosen for their depth of thought and passion for the cause.
These are people that the institutions – academic, media and medical – have cancelled and ‘separated.’ But we have defied that on TCW. We have brought those in the resistance together and provided a platform for them.
We know that this helps keep people sane: we receive such messages of affirmation all the time showing how much people need this kind of interaction and publication.
People ask about TCW‘s reach. It already amounts to many million page views each year and we fully expect this to continue as we enter this new stage of the political and economic crisis. But it needs to extend further, and that depends on you.
Courage of conviction is what will get us through and point the way to recovery. We need you to renew your commitment to that too. So if you can afford to (we know and understand that many of you simply cannot) please consider making a one-off donation or, even better, a regular monthly payment.
I cannot close without thanking all those of you who have so generously supported us over the years and kept us going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
