Reader’s comment: A BBC own goal

The BBC have scored an own goal with this programme.

I have never been a Trump advocate, although I do prefer him to Clinton. But this programme introduced me to genuine honest hard-working people who saw hope in an alternative to the establishment. A mirror image of me, but without the steroids and mud.

There is no equivalent to Trump on the British political landscape, with exception of Farage who falls a long way behind. We should not criticise Trump, we should replicate him here.
