Attempting to rationally deal with the irrational is always difficult. When your mate declares himself to be Napoleon do you snap off a salute or tell him he’s off his rocker?
The full measure of irrational virtue signalling, self-loathing, anti-patriotism and passive aggression might be all the people – Muslims, non-Muslims, politicians, media figures and the intellectually vacant but vain masses – who call face covering a ‘human right’.
Yes, you read that correctly. A practice that is the embodiment of oppression and subjugation i.e. a unalloyed violation of human rights (usually under threat of violence or financial/familial abandonment) is now declared to be the opposite, and those SUPPORTING actual human rights i.e. women’s freedom in all things including dress, are declared to be oppressors.
Lewis Carroll on his best (or worst) day couldn’t top it.
