Reader’s comment: An exercise in vanity

In response to Timothy Bradshaw: You must get rid of ‘Broken Promises’ May: An open letter to Tory MPs, Anglica Bee wrote:

Fortitude is an admirable quality but it ceases to be a virtue when it is at the expense of the nation and its people. Mrs May’s courage is an exercise in vanity. She is sacrificing the will of the people and the sovereignty of the country on the altar of her pride. She has failed utterly in her duty to implement the result of the referendum but will not stand down. Where is the honour and integrity in that?
