I vividly remember the taxi driver being killed during the miners’ strike in Mid Glamorgan, when two striking miners dropped a concrete block from a footbridge onto his vehicle while he was driving a strike-breaking miner to work.
And I’ve never forgotten or forgiven the violent attacks on police horses.
