A very sensible post. I keep shouting at the radio “who do you think will take over if Assad goes?” The mindset of Western politicians is stupid.
We always knew the Middle East had to be ruled by strong men or anarchy ensued. We don’t much like it, but it’s reality. Let’s get real and stick with Assad.
