Orwell was right and the one party government in the UK is fulfilling the predictions almost exactly.
But don’t blame them particularly.
They are simply following the well-worn thought path to misery and financial ruin of all Left-wing atheist, socialist/communist governments for the last 100 years.
The problem is that atheism and socialism go hand in hand and it is very difficult to see how, when the rots starts, it is possible to turn it around. To the atheist, individual happiness is paramount and this as we have seen, does not build strong families, communities or build prosperity for the future.
Freedom of conscience must not be allowed in all of this, because religious people might freely chose to do something that impinges on the atheist’s ‘right’ to do whatever they want to make them ‘happy’.
