Reader’s comment: Blame yourselves, BBC men

In response to Gary Oliver: How long before every hour is Woman’s Hour on BBC radio? , michelle wrote:

Am I supposed to feel sorry for men at the BBC? Sorry, I don’t. They no doubt were quite happy with the BBC’s blatantly Guardianista policies, and would no doubt be cheer-leading for ‘more diversity’ and quotas of BAME, jobs advertised for non-white only. I suppose they thought it would never affect them so they were safe, and could laugh from on high at us lesser mortals.

The seeds of this abhorrent social experimenting and engineering’s downfall are there within itself. Sooner or later each little special status group will have to give way to another or be forced to share with it; we see it now with feminists versus transgenders.

Danny Baker once berated poor Kate Bush in an interview because her songs didn’t have enough political content, of course she didn’t make any anti-Thatcher, pro-Scargill songs was the basic charge sheet of her crime.
