The failure of the pro-EU parties to break through in this People’s Vote reinforces the need, as Caroline Lucas, David Lammy and Emily Thornberry have convincingly argued, to rig the next People’s Vote much more carefully. Otherwise the Country will continue to defy the wishes of the liberal elite.
