In response to Laura Perrins: Transgender will be the death of feminism, Groan wrote:
Of course the point is not the particular movement, but the project to ‘deconstruct’ traditional gender relations because these are ‘bulwarks’ of bourgeois capitalism. In a sense ‘feminism’ started to lose the cultural Marxist plot when it simply started to want women in the boardroom and being business owners. There being far too much of the class distinctions there. And of course what doesn’t change for these privileged feminists is their social class nor their devotion to marriage. So ‘transgenderism’ moved into the gap as it ‘deconstructs’ in precisely the same way as the old ‘political lesbianism’ radical feminism. To the cultural Marxists the middle class, married to a professor, privileged and powerful woman ‘feminist’ has bought into capitalism. The cultural Marxists want chaos, not a load of posh women joining the posh boys way up top of the social pile.
The point is the chaos and breakdown.
