In response to David Keighley: Big three parties morph into one ghastly green blob. We mugs pick up bill, The PrangWizard of England wrote:

I was musing over breakfast this morning what a horrible choice faces us in May, having been aware of the insane green pact you describe. I have family in the US; I think I should try to get there as soon as. The US is not as stupidly led as us, and thankfully Obama will be gone soon, although not soon enough.

It occurred to me that maybe if Red Ed were to win, make a diabolical mess, as he will, at least we will then get shot of the appalling Cameron because he will surely be dumped. Please! Maybe that will give the likes of Owen Paterson and David Davis a chance to get to the top of the Tory party. I know I shouldn’t be thinking it will be good to bring on Armageddon because we additionally have the dreadful situation of another fixed term parliament – another one of Cameron’s irresponsible decisions.

Was it a character in the film Airplane who said ‘I think I’ve chosen the wrong time to give up drinking’.
