Reader’s Comment of the Day: Cacophonous feminists have tried and failed to drown out our prayer vigils

-

In response to, “Laura Keynes: Christianity includes telling hard truths. Jesus would approve prayer vigils outside abortion clinics”, Amanda Lewin wrote:
Dear Laura, I would like to commend you on this absolutely beautiful article, which is a perfect reply to Barnett’s inaccurate and almost hysterical one. I have run a peaceful, prayerful Pro Life witness for over 7 years now, even though in the last year we have been hounded by a group of extreme feminists who have tried to cover our (very gentle and non-explicit, I do not believe in showing pictures of aborted babies) placards with dirty sheets while making noise with kitchen utensils (oh the pun!) and played loud, sexually explicit music to drown out our (quiet) prayers. Our freedom of speech and space has been invaded and almost destroyed yet we continue to be there, to show people that something wrong is happening inside the hospital and that we are there for all Mams and babies, always. God bless your courage and your honesty.
