Reader’s Comment of the Day: We choose to rely on the state not each other

In response to, “Kathy Gyngell: National death wish – our one-child policy presages a desperate old age for millions”, fubar_saunders wrote:

“I have seen too many of my own generation ensnared by the culture of sexual freedom, radical feminism and extreme individualism – all endorsed by successive governments at the expense of any meaningful support of the married family.”

Good luck in turning that super-tanker around.

“As relational interdependence has gone down; state dependence has risen.”

It’s almost as if it was done deliberately, don’t you think? … and the Conservative and Unionist Party has done that to try and highlight it and increase awareness of it, much less reverse it, #tumbleweed…. while the party which is ridiculed for “turning the clock back to the 1950s” is dismissed by our PM as fruitcakes and loonies.

After all….. this is the vibrant, multicultural, diverse society we all wanted and kept voting for, is it not?
