In response to, “Nick Wood: Desperate Miliband appeals to the ‘predators’ of the CBI as he plays the Europe card”, Polly Radial wrote:

We need to remember that the Labour party itself has changed 180 degrees from its original mission.

At inception, it represented the needs of the working population to Parliament – an essential process. Today, it represents the agenda of the middle class public sector AGAINST the working population.

No wonder, then, that its support in traditional heartlands has evaporated, shored up only by ‘postal voting’ and the like. The elitist eccentricities of Ed Miliband only serve to make this truth more evident.
