Neuro-Linguistic Programming has become the BBC’s stock-in-trade. Repetition, repetition, repetition, until the whole country is automatically spewing words and phrases like ‘diversity’, ‘progressive’ and ‘People’s Vote’.
If the Brexit debacle has achieved nothing else, it has prompted millions to wake up to the duplicitous meanings behind them:
Diversity – divide and rule
Progressive – onwards to Communism
People’s Vote – vote to eliminate democracyThis is quite apart from the endless NLP job they have done on ‘Tory cuts’, ‘bedroom tax’, ‘Nasty Party’ (grateful thanks to their sleeper Theresa) to re-educate the impressionable about the Conservatives. It seems that includes most of the parliamentary party!
I cannot stomach any of it any more. But then I was once a journalist, trained in the old-fashioned way to give equal space to each side of the argument followed by a fair summing-up.
