Reader’s comment: Don’t dilly dally

In response to Paul T Horgan: Citizen Pauline sums up the problem with the EU, David wrote:

A splendid short article that succinctly hits the nail on its head.
If you feel you are a citizen of the EU, then firstly that is a legal impossibility, as explained in the article, and secondly it means that you do not identify with any country in particular. In which case you are a rootless and rather sad individual. My advice would be to learn to love the country you reside in now, its traditions and achievements. Or if that isn’t possible, move to a country that you can learn to love. But don’t dilly dally in the middle, being dissatisfied with your lot and creating problems for us patriots, as we know who we are and intend to stay British!
