Reader’s comment: Don’t you mean the Tories?

‘Open borders, social liberalism, corporate bestiality, globalised tax avoidance, multicultural ghettos, London as an international cash laundry and the cost of any collateral damage such as choked public services and fraying social cohesion dumped on to the humble taxpayer.’

We already have a party that fits that description: the Conservatives. So I’m not sure where a centrist party would fit on the political spectrum. Besides, millennials seem to prefer the simplicity of the extreme Left, offering as it does, not just simple solutions, but confected problems needing those solutions.
