Constantly our state-mandated tax-funded body to keep us informed ignores Europe. And is literally awash with Trump and the most obscure goings-on in the tiniest American hamlet. I presume it’s because in the rush for ‘diversity’ based on genitalia or skin colour the Beeb forgot to employ speakers of European languages. Possibly many speak Swedish as measured by coverage of Sweden and Scandinavia: they must be the centre of all things EU. I do love the irony that it is the remainers that show no interest in their supposedly beloved continental neighbours.
