Fifty Shades really is a good book and not on the feminists’ reading list, I suspect.
Take the section when they contemplate getting married. His parents want a pre-nup and he will have none of it. He shows by his actions and words that he understands what marriage actually is.
That is a complete commitment where two become one. Not a ‘partnership’ of individuals who still think as individuals with separate lives, money etc.
He cherishes her and she can then respect him.
