There used to be this thing called ‘flirting’. Men and women did it in all sorts of places and situations and enjoyed it. It sometimes led to romance and marriage. In the 1930s it was actually described as ‘making love’.
Now it leads to unemployment, conviction without trial and in some cases the sex offenders’ register.
Brought about by a relatively small number of deranged harpies and too many really bad politicians.
