There is a misconception that the NHS is a free service, it is not free. You pay 13 per cent of your wages as National Insurance which covers you for NHS treatment.
The problems in the NHS are caused by trade unions, fraud, theft, poor organisational abilities and lack of empathy with patients and over use by foreigners who do not pay for the service at point of delivery.
Finally, the claims by foreign countries for treating those who do not carry insurance while on holiday and who will not repay the NHS for treating their own nationals are also a burden. The government should grow a backbone and insist people pay upfront by credit card or carry insurance before they are treated, if they are foreign.
