This is a problem decidedly not in search of a solution, but our idiotic politicians have squandered billions on unworkable solutions (to a problem which does not exist), which, they have to know, cannot replace existing sources of energy, but which could be a death sentence, in a cold winter, to thousands of people.
I forget whose manifesto, in 2017, said, ‘Vote for us and we’ll give you hypothermia’. I must have missed that one.
