In response to David Keighley: Help crowdfund to stop BBC bias,

I hope this case does go forward. Even if unsuccessful the publicity raising a question about what the BBC is for can only help in the impetus to end its tax funded status. Just as the taxing of over 75s may also make at least some think ‘why a tax funded media?’ None of my offspring view ‘TV’ in the traditional way. The BBC seems to continue to exist through a sort of nostalgic inertia in which many complain about the licence fee but no one seems to have the energy to make a change. A bit ironic that innate conservatism protects the BBC’s status as a national treasure.
