When I was a socialist, JRM was not only my favourite Tory, but my favourite MP, period. (Many on the traditional Left like him – check comments on his YouTube videos). Why? His honesty, his eloquence, the fact that he BELIEVES IN SOMETHING as opposed to the many who believe in nothing, his ability to hold a solid argument that I could disagree with but still respect, his example as the proverbial English gentleman so sadly lacking today, well-educated attitude and speech and his wry humour. I regretted casting my first vote as a Conservative for Theresa May-Not-Last, but would cast with pride for Mogg.
