The whole ethos of the Royal Family, so ably demonstrated her whole life long by our Queen, is to unite the nation by remaining above politics. But in waltzes that young actress from North America, full of Hollywood overconfidence, pushing her leftist political activism, strident feminism and the usual justice warrior diversity ‘injustices’, overpowering her out-of-his-depth and intellectually challenged army officer husband. So I ask myself, ‘What could possibly go wrong?’

For once the Royal Family has exhausted the patience of conservatives like me, they’ll soon find that their intended new supporters’ group, that is ‘new friends’ on the liberal-left, won’t offer any reliable long-term support. Then we’ll be well down the road of making us into a republic – after all Hungary is doing well as a socially and fiscally conservative republic country – so who needs abrasive lectures from the pushy, globalist left-wing princess?
