I’ve said it before many times – this is the pernicious outcome of the false religion of equality. We all know that there are only a handful of religious leaders who are actually dangerous, and who will actually constitute a threat to the bodily integrity of citizens in the UK. We also know that while not unique to any one religion, they are disproportionately to be found in particular sects of one particular religion. However, to make this plain will be to put paid to the lie that religion is simply all the same or is interchangeable from one enlightened (wo)man to the next. It will insist on taking a moral standard, in the light of which not all religions will appear equally illuminated. Since the system is based on the principle that one moral standard is as good as the next (even though virtually nobody believes this), if fault is found in one, fault will be found in all.
