Reader’s Comment of the Day: How long before denying transgendering merits a visit from the Old Bill?

In response to Kathy Gyngell: Ministers should not meddle with the nightmare world of transgenderism, JB wrote:

Delusion must be celebrated. Delusion must be mandatory. Collectivised insanity for all.

For the moment, it’s still possible (I think) to roll your eyes, and shake your head at ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner’s demonstrably false claims that he’s a woman. But how long before contradicting these claims will result in a visit from the police? Once people can be forced to declare a demonstrable and obvious falsehood as truth, can there be any limits on the tyranny that must logically follow. This is a really big deal. How big a deal will probably not be obvious to the sedated masses until after we’ve already shuffled off the edge of the cliff.
