Thank you for this informative piece. When Parliament voted on this issue I wrote to my MP asking him not to vote in favour. He wrote back saying scientific facts had persuaded him to vote yes. What scientific facts, one asks?

IVF has been a curse on the next generation and is now being used to create motherless and fatherless children! Surrogacy has now been banned in Mexico as Western people were paying poor Mexican women to be “gestational carriers”.

A brave new world indeed when you don’t even know who your mother is.
