In response to, Laura Perrins: Nadiya wants her husband to come home to dinner on the table. How outrageous, Gimme some fight’n room wrote:
‘I can only imagine the pain at The Times at having to type out those words – I want my husband to come home and have food on the table. I am surprised it made the final edit at all.’
I dunno? To be honest I don’t think the liberal/left media would have minded it all when Nadiya said these things about being happy to be a stay-at-home mother etc. Nadiya is of an ethnic background – a Muslim female – and this gives her protective status among the liberal/left chattering classes. No matter how backward Nadiya’s views may seem to the liberal/left and no matter how confrontational her ideas are regarding a woman’s status in society – her views are accepted without argument by a pretentious liberal/left because her ethnic background ensures that Nadiya’s views are sacrosanct.
Now if Nadiya had been, say, a Natalie from Romford – white female and of a working class background – and Natalie too spoke of the same happiness at being a stay-at-home mother and expressed her happiness to be a wife to a husband and have dinner on the table for him when he came home from work – then we would all be witnessing the built-in prejudice of the liberal/left rising to the surface and Natalie would have been chastised by the liberal media, mocked by feminists everywhere, given the third degree on BBC Woman’s Hour and made to look like a half-wit on Have I Got News For You.
The liberal/left establishment (including the press) are narcissistic illiberal bigots who hold extremely prejudiced views – on the one hand they will display patience, tolerance and understanding for one section of society regardless of their perspective on life (usually ethnic, Muslim etc) and yet the same ‘liberal’ left will show total uncaring hatred, intolerance and deep disdain toward another section of society (typically white working class – see Rotherham).
