The problem is that many people still see political correctness as essentially benign. I’ve seen it described on this site as “politeness on steroids”.
Only when people realise that it is activism – and that any organisation that promotes it is activist – will people realise that they are dealing with an attempt to transform society bypassing the democratic process.
I don’t use any BBC services so I don’t pay their licence tax, but if I did, I would be horrified that I was paying for such blatant attempts to bypass democracy.
