In response to Mike Buchanan: How to set up a small business. Take a big one and stuff its board with women, Lagopus scotica wrote:
Well said Mike, as a lady who has set up a small scientific business (15 years so far), I can’t stand these quotas for useless corporate females. If they want a seat on a company board, why don’t they set up their own business?
Or if they’re good enough to be on the board in a large corporation, they can climb the greasy pole alongside the men, and do it on merit. Any other options lead to the promotion of the useless at the expense of the useful.
