According to research published in The Sunday Times, two thirds of Muslims wouldn’t report suspected terrorism. At least 100,000 sympathise or support terrorist violence. It goes on. There is no hope of this often backward community integrating as long as we permit arranged marriages with illiterate girls from Pakistan. Fifty per cent of Muslim marriages in Bradford are to a partner from Pakistan.
It is madness to allow this entrenching of backwardness and disadvantage. When Muslim boys in the UK have to marry girls born here, we might begin to make some progress.
