Who would want to be in the armed forces now? You can either get the sack in the latest round of never-ending cuts, or go to prison just for doing your job. I’m sure this is all intended.
Once recruitment dries up, and Britain is unable to field any kind of armed forces worth the name, the traitors who run the country will say:
“Times have changed. It’s impossible for a modern country like Britain to maintain its own independent armed forces. Only by pooling resources with our EU partners, and working together to build an EU Defence Force, can we maintain the security we need” etc. etc.
