On Friday I arrived at a bus stop to find the four people already there engrossed in their phones. Not unusual of course. But saddest of all is when I see a young mother with a child in a pushchair. It is fair to say that almost 100 per cent (no exaggeration) of the parents are either staring at their phones or talking on them. And if this happens when they are out it’s probable they do the same thing at home?
